Questions before you use it

Know exactly what the free decision brief does.

Smart Tenders keeps the first check useful and bounded. It does not turn a public notice into an eligibility guarantee or a finished bid.

Is the bid/no-bid decision brief really free?

Yes. You can check an official notice and download the one-page PDF without an account, card, call or model-provider setup.

Which UK tender sources can I use?

Use a direct notice from Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Public Contracts Scotland or an approved GOV.UK notice route. Search pages, buyer portals and account pages are rejected.

Does Smart Tenders upload or store my screening answers?

The five screening answers stay in your browser. They are sent once only when you request the PDF and are not stored in a contact, workspace, campaign record or tender pack.

Does the tool decide whether my business is eligible?

No. It creates a structured screening signal from the official notice and your answers. You must verify mandatory criteria, buyer documents, commercial terms and delivery evidence before committing to a bid.

What is included in the downloaded brief?

The PDF records the official buyer, deadline, value and source where available, the bid-fit status, blockers or review points, next actions and a verification checklist.

What happens if the tender passes the first check?

The same official notice can continue into a free workspace for requirements, evidence, owners, controlled drafting, review, final lock and export. Direct buyer-portal submission remains a manual handoff.

Practical buying support

Set up the bid desk with less guesswork.

Smart Tenders helps you control the tender work. When you are choosing the laptop or chair the work happens on, use the independent Top 4 buying routes from UK Shortlists rather than a generic product list.

UK Shortlists may earn from qualifying purchases. That does not alter the editorial role or ranking of a recommendation.
